My router’s LED lights are flashing and it is not online

If you’re experiencing issues with your Centaur® router or gateway, where the LED light is flashing red and there’s no internet connection, this article provides troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue.

Please follow these steps to troubleshoot the problem:

1. Check Cellular Antennas

  • Correct Installation: Make sure the antennas are properly installed on your router, following the instructions provided in the setup guide.

  • Inspect for Damage: Look for any visible damage to the antennas, as even a minor issue can cause connectivity problems.

  • Secure Connection: Ensure that each antenna is securely attached to its respective connector.

2. Verify the SIM Card

  • Proper Insertion: Confirm that the SIM card is properly inserted into the router’s SIM card slot.

3. Restart the Gateway

  • Power Cycle: If the steps above don’t resolve the issue, try restarting your gateway. To do this:

    • Disconnect the gateway from the power supply.

    • Wait for about two minutes.

    • Reconnect the power supply and check if the connection is restored.
